I would like to know it there is a way in revit to identify the relationship between the room and its surrounding walls and roof and floor, e.g. i define a room and i wanna know which walls, roof and floor are confining the room ? Thanks

I dont think so. That is why Room objects have their own parameters for surface finishes- because there is no way that they can pick up values from the bounding objects. Regards, Ian

considering that revit is a BIM was hoping that there would be a more direct relationship between all these elements.
