Does anybody knows why revit 8 restart windows XP, is there a fix for that

Are you using any shell modifying software on your windows XP? This can sometimes cause the start of revit to restart the computer as revit doesn't like to modified from the way it normally looks.
Only other thing is to ensure you are using the latest build and disable open gl and see if that helps...

I only have Autocad 2004 and 2006 , on tis computer, they work fine
