I've linked my structural elements to my project, I have deleted some structural walls from the basement level. And when I reloaded the link from the project, now I can see all the basement structural elements from the above levels (it's like from 4th level till all above levels). Anyone can help?

Sorry but your question is unclear. Did you delete a floor as well?

Ok then. I've just deleted a part of the building on a basement floor. And after I've saved the link file, I reloaded it again from the host project. And now I can see from the fifth floor or fourth or from all above levels, the basement. I shouldn't see the basement from the fifth floor right? Attaching some images: the structural elements in the basement are visible from the above levels as seen in the second picture red marked area. Hope you can help.

Is the linked file CAD or Revit? You do not say? In you revit file, what should be in the area you circled in red? Obviously you know what is in the basement and showing, we do not know what is basement or what is not. If there should be a floor or roof there, then is it? Cut a section throgh this space and show us what should be there. Ifit should be roof, is roof on in VG? If it should be floor, have you hidden it? This is not a Revit problem, it is a procedure problem and we are only gusiing bucause you are not telling us enough.

The linked file is Revit. In the area that I circled red, there shouldn't be anything but I see there a partial basement plan. if I take a section from there everything looks ok, but if I go through plans I see stuff that shouldn't be there. I'm sending a 3rd level plan and 3 sections to make it more clear. There are no roofs, nothing is hidden. I know its not a Revit problem, but after I have deleted some structural walls from the link and reloaded it, it became this way. Sorry to take your time, you are right I haven't described it properly, hope you can help.

Are you linking the model by view instead of just showing the model? We can't really tell what should be there. You say nothing should be there. There must be a floor or roof there if there is a basement. BTW - You are the one that controls the depth of view. If you are not linking by view and you are on the 4th floor ... or whatever, then why have your depth of view be so low? Or do you have an underlay on ....?

I didn't understand the difference between linking and just showing the model. Yes there is a floor above but I don't see it from the plans. I didn't play with the depth of view. It's defaulted values. And no there is no underlay. I really don't know whats wrong, but I checked all the stuff you told me.
