Any tips on letting Revit automatically calculate pipe sizes??

Trying to get from fixture units, to flow rate and or velocity for plumbing pipe.

 Has anyone had success with it?

ASSUMING that all the elements were corectly modeled, if you do the following it should autoadjust the pipe/duct to the correct size based on the equipment you are coming from.

1. Place equipment in project.
2. Select pipe/duct tool.
3. Start pipe/duct AT connectino (you snap to the little target symbol on the equipment).
4. Before placing the next point, hit the space bar.
5. Voila! Auto sized piping/ducting!
6. ???
7. PROFIT!!!!
