Hello everyone.

I need to schedule out a wall area that will not subtract doors and windows.

For example. A wall that is 100'-0" long by 20'-0" high with three 10'-0" x 10'-0" garage doors.

Is there a way that I can schedule out 2000 SF and not 1700 SF?

Thanks.

Just a guess here.... How about using phases.  Base phase has no openings - schedule base phase.

Thanks for the quick response.

But I dont know what you mean. What is Base Phase? I cant find that anywhere.

I tried creating a new phase named Base, assigning my wall to that phase, and making my schedule using that phase but it still is subtracting my doors. But I doubt that is what you meant.

The doors need to be in a different (later) phase.

I think what WWHub meant is;

1st phase has no windows in it, just walls (ie: 'base' measurement phase) - create a schedule for your walls filtered by phase

2nd phase - insert windows / doors in this phase - create new schedule for this phase & it'll subtract the window area from the walls

Check your phase settings for your schedule
