Hello;

I have two files. One is host, the other is link. The link file contains structural model like columns, beams, floors and structural walls. The host file contains all the other data.

My problem is that i cannot join the walls with the structural walls because the structural walls are in the link. Is there a way to join normal walls to the linked structural walls?

I got two solutions:

1. To use in place void extrusions to cut the geometry from the normal walls.

2.  To create a junk workset and create little structural walls and join walls to them, then close this workset so these structural walls are invisible.

But I want a third solution that doesn't involve above solutions.
