Hi, I have a legit stand alone version of 2011 Revit Archi, and Autocad, and Autocad Archi (the Suite) on my hard drive. They were installed with the disc and activated with the 11-digit series number and 5 digit product key. However, I need to move them to a different hard drive as the current one is getting pretty full. Is there any way to do it without installing the product again? I dont have the install disc anymore. Would downloading a trail version on the internet and using the same key work? thanks

I really doubt that you´d get away with a move to another HD. But it´s legit to download from AutoDesk and reinstall using the same serial as the first install. And BTW, I don´t believe that there´s any difference in the trial and the full version, but the full version can be found on autodesk.com right here.

if you are on subscription you can go to the site and download. if your are moving to a new computer i would reinstall. if you are just swapping harddrives there is software that will do this for you. how good they are i cannot say. i always re-install.

Yes, you can download a full version of revit from the autodesk website, and it should work fine with your code. Autodesk has been moving away from hard copies for awhile now, they now charge you extra, $10 I think, to actually get a disc.
