When modeling plumbing pipe layouts, is it wrong for me to model it all how it would be installed on the site....?  When it comes to making the plan views for my sheets it looks like butt and is really confusing when my pipe is so close.  Another problem is my iso view.  Again, modeling it as the field installation seems pointless when my view  on the sheet is really confusing.  I thought a large selling point of this program was to avoid interferences.  How is this any better than Auto-Cad when I'm modeling so it looks great for my sheets...

I wasn't just making a statement...  I ended up modeling the plumbing pipe work to work w/ my iso and plan view.  Thinking this could come back to haunt me now that the architect is now asking why the spaces between piping is so large... basically so it looks alright on plan view.  I have a feeling he is now questioning my ability to use and minupulate Revit from model to sheets.  Never had to much of a problem with making plans from the model for the architectural side of things... MEP its a whole new battle.

Is this how its done or could I be missing something?
