I have created a 5 story bldg w/ an elevator shaft. Just for representation I am creating a box in the shaft to represent the elev. car when cut in section. Level 1, I create a generic 5" wall for all 4 sides, then I create a generic flr. But when I double click my section cut it does not show my flr in the car. All other walls, ceilings, etc, in the bldg show up and the car walls. When I put my mouse over the area where the floor should be, the outline of it pops up and calling it out generic floor. When I move it away the outline of the flr disappears. I have the view at "fine". Any advice.

Just a wild guess - But maybe you have a "Shaft Opening" which is cutting the floor that disapeared ??
