Hi, I'm using Revit Architecture 2011, and have attached 2 images below. I'm making a curved solar laminate which consists of a 2mm dark blue solar layer on a 3mm laminate. It looks fine as a generic .rfa but when I export it into a project, when I zoom outwards, the whole 5mm laminate seem to disappear into the surface it is on. To make it look better, I either lift the entire family off the surface it is in, within the project, or I lift the 2mm layer away from the 3mm laminate in the family file. The further I zoom the project, the further I have to lift the family away from the surface it is on. But for section details, I have to move it back down again. Is there a better solution? Thanks!

What is your end goal? If this image is to be plotted, try doing that and see if you still have the same issue. Otherwise, if you are exporting or printing to PDF, try that as well. I've noticed this happening before as well and I think it has something to do with the REVIT native resolution vs. screen resolution, or something along those lines. But when you plot, it should get taken care of. If you are still seeing an issue, try adjusting your print settings to vector processing vs. raster processing.
