I'm working on a project where we've imported a bunch of text boxes arranged in a table from AutoCAD. I'm not aware of how it was originally created, I just know that when I imported the CAD file, and exploded the drawing, I've been having strange issues with text. I don't think they were MText objects, but rather Text objects. In Revit, when I go to modify these text boxes, any new lines that I add are positioned where the original text was, and the rest of the text shifts moves upward. To my knowledge, the only way I know of to make Revit do this is to check the Keep Readable box, mirror the text box across a horizontal line. When you do this, the 'move' and 'rotate' symbols appear below the text box. My problem text isn't doing this, however. I need to do this on hundreds (if not thousands) of lines. Is there a way to mass-reset all of these buggy text boxes? I've tried Match Properties on a regular text box. I've tried changing the style. It seems as though there's a hidden property of these boxes that aren't accessible by Revit. Any suggestions?

I've found an article which suggests there ARE indeed Text Note properties that aren't readily accessible, or "official"... http://thebuildingcoder.typepad.com/blog/2010/04/revitlookup-and-textnote-alignment.html The question is, is it even possible to change them?
