Hello, 

In RAC 2011 for some reason, probably a simple switch or setting,  Mass elements do not show shadows in realistic view. Both model and mass show up in shaded with edges view.  Model elements are showing shadows so they are switched on. If I click on the element to edit the mass element,  shadows show up, but only if they are highlighted.  Does anyone have any ideas or run into this yet?

Were you ever able to get this fixed? I am having the same problem right now. I click on the panels, and the shadows show up. When I escape, the shadows disappear.....

Maybe a graphic card issue, check the drivers.
