Hi there, I'm trying to add a metal caping to a sloped wall. I know that i have to create a solid form sweep and apply it to the sloped wall. My question is: Does anybody know how to do this in a very step by step basis because I am easy to be lost in the mid way. Regards, Gaston

You must use an "In-Place" family, go to Home > Component > In-place , choose the category, in this case Wall, now you will see at the top "Solid Sweep", use ""pick path" and select the edge of that wall, close the path and select "edit profile", sketch the profile like you want and finish the profile, also, you can assign a Material to this parapet. Look at the bottom of this page and you will see similar threads. Also, I post this a couple years ago: http://www.revitcity.com/forums.php?action=viewthread&thread_id=14444 I don't know if the video still active but...

Do all the walls with the in-place family. HINT.... start in the middle of a wall and end ther - not at a corner. If you start at a corner, that corner will not be joined.

Create the Sweeps then use the "Join Geometry" tool between them.
