Hi, Can anyone tell me how to calculate two formulas on the same row please? I have created a Door Schedule and included a Cost Field with totals calculating, I have also created a Door Style Key Schedule which I added to the Door Schedule Fields alongside the Door Style Style Cost. Is there a Formula for calculating both Costs on the same row? The three Costs Rows I have are: Door Style Cost, Cost and Total Cost. I want to Calculate the Door Style Cost & Cost so I have a Total Cost which I will want to calculate the totals of too. Please find attached a .png with a copy of the schedule. Any help will be gratefully appreceated, Thanks, Peter

You need to open the families and add shared parameters (if these cost parameters aren't already). You'd have 'Door Style Cost', 'Cost' & 'Total Cost' shared parameters. This will allow you to add a formula to the values as well as schedule the items in your project. Add this formula to 'Total Cost': Door Style Cost+Cost. hth

Thanks BDerrick, I created shared parameters for the Door Style Cost, Door Cost & Total Cost as advised and added the following formula to the Total Cost Field: =Door Style Cost+Door Cost. I got an error saying the following string is not recognised: Door Style Cost. I checked the name of the shared parameter and it matches my input. Please find attached a .png with a copy of the revised schedule showing the error and formula. Thanks, Peter

Sorry, I should've been more clear. You need to open the family and add the shared parameters. The schedule itself cannot add 2 different parameters.

Thanks Bderrick, I added the shared parameters directly in to the family but still couldn't get the formula calculating on the same row. I discovered that the Schedule can have two different parameters adding on the same row by using Calculated formulas in the Fields section of the Schedule Properties Dialogue Box. Please see attached .png. Thanks for your help, Peter
