Hi, I have a very complex toposurface of a site and streets with different slopes. For the sidewalks I did a split surface and move the splitted sidewalk 10 centimeters up, so now I have the sidewalks with the same levels of the streets plus the appropriate distance up.

The issue is that I am making a plan with all my rubble base with floors and pads on different levels with elevation spots with top and bottom elevations activated that tells me both levels, but with toposurfaces I don’t have any thickness and I can only use the top elevation.

Is there some way to add thickness to a toposurface, like the thickness you add to a floor or pad? I need just thickness and no necessarily structure like a floor or pad, because I only want to add a bottom elevation to this elements on elevation view.

Is there some other tip to work this out?

P.D.The bottom elevations gives data to the constructor of the compacted soil (thats the bottom level), wich is the mean theme of this plan that I’m making…

Thanks a lot for all your help. Happy Hollidays!!

Topo surfaces have no thickness becaue they are only a surface.  You will have to use something else.

BTW - if you zoom in and look at your walks, you will see you have a hole in your surface.  That again is because topo surfaces have no thickness.  It is as if yoh had two sheets of paper side by side and you lift one up.  You can see under the lifted sheet through the space created.

You are better off to add elevation points at the contour breaks at curbs, walks and roads.  Then split the face of the topo and add your surface material for sidewalk / road.
