Hello,

I wonder the process of building facade. Do you set wall 1 story height then copy it or set wall in height with 6 stories? If I don't want to see the story dividing line...

Drawing it along with real structure, it results in the columns exposed. I know the structure of wall could be reesblished with finish layer. But how about columns (I used structure columns). Or will you try set up a finish layer with wall family then join it with wall?

About roof, supposed the building only has a flat roof/floor(with slope for storming), but I was asked to set it with its structure. Will you use floor family or component?

I'm not sure I understand all your questions but:

  1. Most users model their perimeter walls full height.
  2. Coumn question -  I don't understand what you are asking.
  3. A roof is a roof, be it flat, low slope or steep ptch, it is still modeled as a roof.

Sorry for my English.

According to the CAD drawing, you would see column in the revit model. I mean from outside. I do not need the column seen in the elevation.

Revit will show what you model.  If the column does not go to the face of the wall, then don't model it there and run the walls past it.  If the column is the same material as the wall, then use an arhitectural couumn which will assume the wall finish.
