I am trying to frame roofs using Revit Architecture 2011. I am using a warren with cambered top chord truss - 10 panel from out of the box. My problem is it creates a symetrical truss and I need a truss that has the same pitch on boths sides but the right side is a diffrent height than the left side. I tried using cut which allowed me to trim the top and bottom chord but then I have members which are comipletly outside of the cutting plan so I cannot trim them out. Thanks Zoomby

Hi. Im not sure what you need exactly but I attached two example I created in 5 minutes. Take a look at it and see if it helps you out. I started these families from the structural truss template in revit. Just remember to lock up webs and dimensions properly if you want it to work. If you have any questions let me know.

Those examples are great. After working with them I realize one of the problems with the out of the box trusses is autodesk has deleted all the dimension information from their trusses so they won't work as a starting point for a custom truss. Your example solves this for me so thanks I appreciate it. Zoommby
