We signed the grids and levels to a gost person who own the grid and chief and never let the gost person relinquish the ownership of that workset. This is very useful to prevent grids and levels being accidently moved out off place. But I found there is no way to prevent people accidently put other objects into this workset. And that can be problematic. Is there any way to do this?

Sorry but I don't see any way to do this. BTW, I believe you would be far better off not to make your model fool proof but to ask for and expect good Revit practice from your users. Initially you do have some problems but good Revit practice pays big dividends later.
