for the life of me i can't figure this one out. ive been using revit for a few years and this is a new one (using 2011). i had a building file which ive been using . i deleted a group of walls and the rooms and their tags. i copied the walls from another file and then went to add new room and tags and it keeps coming up "not enclosed" i made 4 new walls and tried to add a room and no luck. i tried using room seperation lines to create a room, and still no luck. room bounding is checked on all walls, so that wasnt it. the walls are form floor to ceiling, so that wasnt it i can add rooms on another floor, but this view wont allow me to do it. i'm stumped. please help

I do not know if these are your problem, but this is what I would check if I were running into that. - Cut a section through a wall and make sure it goes down to the level that the plan you are working on is based on.
- Make sure your view extents are correct for your plan...make sure you are not looking down at the wall or have a view extent that ends above your level.
- Then when you go to place the room make sure it is trying to place them on the same level. I have not used RAC in a while, so I am not sure if this is an option you have when placing a room.
- I don't think there is a way to make wall not room defining, but I would also check your wall properties and see if there is a togle in there that makes them not room defining or something similar.
