Is there any way to create correct area calculations when involving dormers?  The extent of the areas only seem to go so far as where the roof intersects the cut plane at 1200mm - I have tried to change the cut plane, redrawn the roof after changing the cut plane, using dormer openings, using voids, creating opening by adjusting footprint, and a few other variations - without success

A bit frustrating as the whole point of BIM is to get correct updates if amendments are made.  At the moment I am having to create a room tag with just the name (e.g. bedroom), then do a manual area calculation and placing that manually as a text string underneath, a la AutoCAD.

Advice would be much appreciated.

Aaah,

Isn't it funny how for months I have tried to find and resolve this issue, and then finally after deciding to ask, only for 5 mins later to find the answer...
