I have the following situation: The client wants to see room areas that include space in the corridor. We have used a Color Scheme to illustrate this. But for code compliance, I need to show the more traditional corridor/room separation. In both cases, the rooms need to remain numbered the same. Since I need to maintain both throughout the DD/CD process, I have decided to proceed with design options to separate 2 versions of my floor plan. - for code compliance
- for the client.
I clipped the rooms and room separation lines from the main model and pasted them into the 2 design options, but now I find that the automatic numbering overwritten the room numbers, making them all sequential. Is it possible to suppress the automatic room numbering in Revit? If not, does anyone have any suggestion on a better way to proceed?
