Does anyone know of a way to create an annotation symbol that does not print? We use a redline symbol on our drawings that we want to see on the screen, but never want it to be visible on a print. Does anyone have any ideas?

No way to do it - on the wish list. You could have an invisible element that you tag and the tag has an instance based parameter that you fill in. If the invisible ilenment is is a sub-category that gets turned off at print time through view templates.... We prefer to have working views that contain data like this. Views that are never placed on sheets.

One workaround we have tried is to have a "visible" parameter on the symbol. Then we can turn off the symbol globaly. The problem with this is that the symbol uses leader lines. Even if the symbol is set to invisible, the leader lines are still visible. Any idea on how to make the leader lines invisible? Thanks
