I am new to Revit 2011. Is there a way to import a google map view into a Revit view?

I've seen it inserted as a .jpg, I assume that it was either a screencap or GE may have a tool for exporting as a .jpg. I don't know of any other way to do it, but I haven't really researched it.

Just create a drafting view and then insert your Google map there or insert it directly on a sheet......

Unless you're paying for Google Maps Pro you are opening yourself up to a devestating lawsuit. It's only a matter of time before Google needs an influx of money and starts suing

You can use the maps as long as you are not selling them to others

That link states you may not use it in a commercial product without first getting permission. There lies the problem. How many of us have gotten their permission? Few to none I would assume. I'm playing it safe and tracing over the map with detail lines.
