Hi there-

Relatively new to the Revit boards, hope I'm not driving you guys nuts with another repeated question.

I know there are many issues involving opening Revit files in previous versions, but howabout the other way around?

I have Revit 2010 but need to move them to 2011, and further work in 3DS Max Design 2011.

Am I going to have issues here?

Again, I apologize if this type of question has been answered, but I'm having trouble locating a response.

 Cheers!

I think you will have material issues.  Not sure about any other issues.  different material libraries in 2011.

But I could assign new materials in Revit 2011? And from there go into 3DS without any (foreseeable) problems, right?

There will be no issues going from 2010 to 2011, not even materials.  The material library changed from 2009 to 2010.
