Hi, I create a structural framing family with type of parameter as length. I can not give negative value for the parameter. How to give negative value for a parameter? Thank you.

Sorry, but how can anything have a negative length?... I understand what you are asking but obviously, all lengths have to be positive so knowing that, you should understand that your problem is your reference point. Add a new reference plane if you have to but dimension this element in such a way that it will always be a positive number.

OK, I created a reference plane and I gave double the value for that parameter and I achieved. Thank you for your reply.
