Hello, I created a roof in 3-D CAD and tried to import it into Revit as a DWG and then use the "Roof by Face" command, but the tool wouldn't select any faces. Ideas?

Did you import that CAD file into a "Mass" family first? Go to "Massing and Site" "create Mass", import that CAD file, finish the family and Apply wall by face. Also, you can go to "Home > Component > model in-place" choose the "Mass" category, import the CAD then finish the family, then wall by face.

The "Massing and Site" method gave me the same result, and the "Model in Place" mass method was correctly placed and then disappeared when I hit "finish family".

Correction, the Massing and Site method worked when I did "in place mass" vs "place mass". Thank you for your help!
