Greetings.

Does anyone know how to change the UP/DN text for a stair to Transparent?  I am unable to locate this setting.  Thanks.

Ian

You can try following:

1. Pick thr stair , then right click to show the " Element Properties"

2. In Graphics, un-check Up lable, Up arrow, Down label and Down arrow.

Thank you for your thoughts, but this only controls the visibility of the arrow/text and not the opaque/transparency of the text. (unless I missed something obvious ...)

Now I know what are you looking for.

If the "UP" "DN" block your stair, you can try the following:

1. Move the cursor to "DN" to hightlight it, then you can see a blue dot, you can drag that out fron the step.

2. Or you can point the cursor to the "DN", and right click, then click "Override graphics in vew/By element, then you can select the options.

Thank you ... that does accomplish the goal ... for a particular stair on a particular view.

But I am hoping to find the solution to control these text graphics (stair text) for the entire project, much like the opaque/transparent settings for dimensions and text.

Is this not available for stair text?  If not, then I suppose that this will have to be a wishlist item ...

I personally do not like the up/down arrow so I always turn it off and use a text note.
