My firm just recently upgraded our server & network. It's a significant upgrade to what we previously had and it feels like saving and loading in Revit are slower than before. New Server & Network specs: - Quadcore Processors
- 16GB RAM
- SBS2008
- 15k RPM SATA HDs in Raid 5
- Network = GBit.
I don't understand why I'm not seeing an improvement and I'm seeing a degrade in file access speed. Our IT consultants haven't provided a solution yet, so I thought I would reach out to the community! Does anyone know what the cause of this may be? Does shadow copy or any other server side programs have an effect on Revit? Are their any other known setup settings that are known to cause issues with Revit? If I need to provide more info, please let me know. Thanks! Matt Edited on: Wed, Nov 24, 2010 at 11:12:04 AM
