I have no idea what's going on. All of a sudden I get this error everytime I try to move, copy, rotate, or do an array of a group. This just started happening out of nowhere. Within the same project I've made dozens of groups already that I've minipulated in all sorts of ways with no errors and now every time I make a group this happens. What's the deal? Did I hit some magical button I don't know about that is causing this?

If the group contains walls, beams, or other model objects that tend to automatically attach to nearby elements, that may be the problem. If you have a wall that's part of a group and it joins with an intersecting wall in one instance, but doesn't intersect any walls in another instnace, then the walls might not be considered identical. Not sure if this is your problem or how you might go about fixing it though.

This is indeed the problem. When I move or rotate a group it tends to try to drag nearbye components with it. How do I disconnect these components or keep them from automatically attaching themselves?

I guess you could create the groups in a seperate project file and link them in instead of using group instances. Links won't attach to elements within the project file the same way that groups do. If it's a wall that's causing the problem, you could also try disallowing the join by clicking on the wall, right clicking on the blue dots at the end, and hitting "disallow join". That might keep the wall from trying to attach to other objects.

Thanks. I actually figured it out though. For whatever reason I never saw the "Disjoin" check box under the move option. I'm an idiot but I don't even care, I'm just glad I figured it out, this has been driving me nuts way too long!
