I'm working on Revit 2009, and created two types of reveals, they are working beautifully both horizontally and vertically, and mitered at the corner. But after I created a face based void family and tried to place it on the sides of the wall, then the intersections looked so funny. Both pdf files and Revit file attached. I'm just a perfectionist. :-) Help, thanks!

The face based family is breaking the reveals, select the reveals & use the grips to slide the reveals about to make it look perfect. You could create the triangular family as a reveal to use on an angle only &create a wall reveal with the same profile & adjust that using the grips to keep it all looking sweet
