when I split wall, sometimes, it's hard to cut at certain location. I tried to split it first, and then drag the interface to where I want, but splitting then disappeared, the two walls joined after I drag the interface.

Does anyone have the similar experience?

Create an elevation to that wall. Create there an detail line. Then click on the split icon, and click split on the edge of the wall ( press the tab button until it gets purple), but over the detail line.

What nasty is telling you, indirectly, is that Revit is very precise at splitting an element at an intersection if there is one.  So... give yourself something as a reference.
