Hello, At our office, we had a brilliant ‘what if’ idea for a door tag, which now seems it’s not possible, so I was hoping that by sharing this idea, perhaps somebody could come up with a solution. We have a door tag in which one of the labels reads the fire rating of the door. The label then displays for instance “RATED 20-MIN” which is really nice, except when we get an unrated door it reads “RATED 00-MIN” which is just a bit silly. We were hoping there’d be a way for the tag to automatically use visibility parameters and display “UNRATED” if the rating is zero. If it is anything but zero, it’ll read “RATED XX-MIN”. The actual rating could be the label, and the “UNRATED” could be text. Here’s where I’m stuck, inside the tag family I’m not able to call in the Fire Rating parameter. So I can’t use any formulas to use the visibility parameters. I’m really curious about this one, so hopefully you can help us out. Thanks for reading!!

I just went through my old posts, as it turns out I asked something similar over a year ago (and forgot about it). Don't stop trying it out though. http://www.revitcity.com/forums.php?action=viewthread&thread_id=16530
