Majority of the doors we use in our facilities are going to be installed in a masonry wall. Where can I get a hollow metal door and frame? Revit provides the most incomplete components. Revit 2010 provides the same components as it did back in 2008. Where is the advancement? My current rant about Revit is how it wants to add New Features, but does not build more on its previous features. I have navigated the internet for companies that supply BIM components, but no luck on hollow metal doors and frames.

Most people use a simple door and fame for plans and elevations and only add the HM frame in detail views. You can find the HM Frame detail component in your library.

Thank You. Would you happen to have 2010 or earlier files? We have 2011, but our current project is in 2010.

I don't have any families older than 2011. I always convert mine when I get a new Revit. Sorry.
