Hello, yesterday I've purchased the Velux family form "revit-content.com". Now as you can see in the added image, I'm having problems with the views in a project. 3d and section are fine, but the floorplans show strange things. The floorplan in which the window is, should display a dashed line or something, I will add this myself, but how do I make all the other lines dissapear from this view? And in the second floor plan, I would expect just to see the Velux from top, but instead the complete Velux is hidden, and only the roof cut is shown. Help! Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I would try an open up the Velux Component ('Edit Family' tool), then have a look at the visibility setting in the Views>Floor Plans>Ref Level area. If you click a component then go to 'View>Visibility/Graphics' you should be able to change settings for how the componets shows up when its in your model. Sometimes if the family component with the is complex you might also need to edit the component within the component )if you know what I mean) and check the visibility settings the same way as above. Good Luck

Just hide the unit in the plan view... draw your dashed lines first.
