I have a wall footing that changes elevation - it steps down 16" at one point. I was able to drop the footing by using Split command and modifying the base height of the foundation wall. The only issue now is that the footing is not continuous; it stops at one height and picks back up at the lower height, with no vertical "step" to make the footing continuous. How do I create the vertical step in the footing, so that it's a continuous, stepped footing?

If your footing is attached to the bottom of the wall and you edit the sketch of the wall to step its bottom, the footing will step with it.
