For a while I had help on a project and created local files.....now I am back to being the only person on the project. I work from home a1 or 2 days a week but cannot access our network from home, so i load the file on a portable hard drive and replace the file on monday...taht was when I was only person on it. Now...the question. What file do I load on the portable hard drive...my local or the central? Again, no one else will be woprking on the file but me? Thanks!

It's not going to matter much, as soon as you put it on the portable drive Revit is going to think it's a local file. For procedure's sake I would be inclined to copy the central file, then overwrite the central when you bring it back. You will likely have to do a save as and make it a central file at home to avoid any "can't find the central file" errors, then again when you bring it back tot he office.
