Maybe someone can take a look at this PAT file and tell me why it won't scale to larger than 2.22 in Revit. I have simpler patterns of the same size that will scale fine. Post edited on 2005-10-24 17:45:56

You can scale it larger than this it just won't preview. This is because the actual preview will show a tiled version of the pattern, if the individual tile is larger than the preview box then is won't show. HTH.

True, it won't preview, but I also get an error message "Pattern too big" when I try to hit OK. Post edited on 2005-10-24 18:23:16

I had/have had the same problem and have not yet resolved it fully, but I beleive I am going in the right direction, perhaps you might be able to expand on it as I am still experimenting. What I have realised is that the scale of the pattern is relative to the scale in the package it was created in....i have had to open  a number of hatch .pat files created in AutoCad and have re-scaled them-sometimes smaller or larger depending on what is r'qd and then re-imported them....play around with this it might sort out your problem...ie the scale to autocad is inversely proportional to revit???
