Is there an equivalent in Revit for making attributes? I have yet to find anything that works similarly. Any assistance greatly appreciated. Cheers!

Yes they are called parameters... What exactly are trying to do... if you are trying to create a titleblock you need to place labels. Best bet would be to do a few tutorials on family creation.

Revit is a parametric Building Information Modeling (BIM) system and it is based on an object oriented database. Every object has properties which are database fields (kind of like an attribute, but with real intelligence). Insert something into your Revit model like a desk, door or chair, click on it and hit the properties button (or right click to properties). You will then see the Instance based properties of the object and ghosted out the Type based properties. You can add additional database fields or as Revit calls them parameters to any object. All of the parameters can be scheduled within the Revit program. Understanding this concept is fundamental to using Revit. Go through the tutorials and also check out www.dgcad.com for some nice Revit CBT. HTH Tom
