Ok, so I am pretty sure the answer is no, but I would really love to hear if someone has a work around of some sort.

I need to make a scheduleable parameter that combines my bar type (talking about rebar), bend type, and length.  I have no issues combining bar type and bend type as they are both text fields so I can have a 4-00 for a number 4 strait bar, but my issue is bringing in the length because I can not seem to figure out how to get revit to convert a number to text.  I would love if someone has figured out how I could have a 4-00-480 for a 40' #4 Strait bar where Revit would combine these for me for a paramter as a tag but will also show in the schedule as 4-00-480.

Again any and all thoughts (related to the question) would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks ahead...

Revit does not yet have any text formulas available - sorry.

But... you can make a tag like this

Param 1 (real character "-" ) Param 2 (real character "-" ) Param 3
