Hi, i am trying to create a railway using in place mass. What is proper way to create a solid object from a mass? I thought wall by face but there should be more wise solution for this problem. I attached an image to illustrate... Thanks for your help.

I don't see a wall there, why would you coose wall by face? As a matter of fact, why are you using a mass? This looks like it should be an in-place family sweep.

Thanks for your answer. I do not want to use wall by face because it will create thickness which is unnecessary for railway. Maybe i need to use another family such as furniture and selecting material for surface seems better.

? ? ? As I suggested: "....This looks like it should be an in-place family sweep..." As far as the category goes, maybe site?... do you want it to be cuttable, if so, then choose an appropriate family that is cuttable - look in your HELP: search cuttable.
