where can you select custom textures (from .jpg files) into the rend appearance dialog? i cant find anywhere to drop them in in r2011

Its not very obvious where to select the new image files. When you're in the render appearance dialog with an existing material you want to change, click on the sample of the image and a new window will open. Then click on the image "source" link and a file browser will open to select a new image file. hope that helps
