We use cute and we don't have that problem. 100% centered Take a look at your titleblock family.

It is because it is a student version. If you print to an oversided PDF then when you go to print to paper just shrink it down to the correct size. You in essence just have to print it twice to remove the black borders.

If you take the drawing into Illustractor(Adobe) you can delete the black blocks and the text under them and then just save back to PDF, double check though sometimes the scale changes.

Ok, what I mean by printing it oversized is if you have your sheet set up as an 8.5x11, print it as 17x22 so the black is away from your paper space on the PDF. Then take the 17x22 PDF that has black on the edges and print it to an 8.5x11 which will crop it back down to the correct size and rid the black boarder. You could also do as wheelergc suggested.

I have the same problem w/ the student version. With Adobe PDF Uder Tools, select "Advanced Editing" then "Touch Up Object Tool" Click on black box then delete and then you'll have to repeat the process again. Takes black boxes away. Also if you print from AutoDesk Design Review, doesn't print w/ boxes. I am having a problem though with it printing to the correct scale. It's off just a bit...either too big or too small.
