Hello there all.. I am planning to add mirror in a whole wall and also ceiling to show relationship with outside from windows on the opposite wall.(the roof is sloped in angle) but have no idea if this is possible to be done in revit and how?? also can someone explain me how to make a lake and water texture settings to be most closer to natural?cause it seems not to work either. x

Sorry but your question is unclear. Are you asking if you place a mirror on the wall will it show what is behind you in the view? If so, no.

no I just would like to know how I could add mirror on interior wall and ceiling. the concept is quite complicated and doesnt really matter as I just have questions on designing it.

Just create a face based family that is a model solid and has a mirror material assigned to it. This family can then be placed on any flat surface.

No you will not find it. I said "...Just create a face based family that is a model solid and has a mirror material assigned to it." That means you have to create the family. Start with a generic model - face based template. Extrude the shape off the face the thickness of the mirror and assign a mirror finish to it. Save it as a name and load it into your project.

aha i found that generic model and I could make it as if there is other thickness inside but by putting the mirror finish, do I have to just put glass and make the reflection to full?as this is the only closer to mirror i can find.. sry Im new to revit and i only know the very basics

Create a new material (manage tab/materials pick one - duplicate) - name it mirror and look in your render appearance library - you will find mirror there with about 8 different options.
