I am new to Revit (about 2 months experience so far) and have come over from AutoCAD (20+ years of experence). I am using Revit 2010 building. Is it possable to have 1 key shortcuts in revit (I am very used to that from AutoCAD) or do all shortcuts in Revit have to be 2 character?

It seems that it might be possible, if you are using 2011 or 2010 with the updates (you need the keyboard shortcut interface). You can assign a single key to a command, but here's the catch: you can't have any other commands that start with that key. So, if you set "C" to copy, you can't set "CS" to create similar. My personal opinion is that it's just something you should get used to. Once you get into the habit it's just as fast as ACAD's single keys, especially since you don't need to hit Enter after them.

Thank you, that seems to answer my question.
