Hi, Does Revit have a "General Dimension" so If I have a Moduled Gridline, I can choose that dimension type to dimensionate that gridlines and making them appear automatically on every Revit View? ... Or can a Dimension be set up so it will work like that?

For the Wishlit ---> (In Autocad we can dimmension just once and turn on the layers on all vieports, or change their position using annotative configuration, but not in revit)

 Regards,

Dimensions in Revit are considered view elements - that is they only exist in the view they are in.  You can copy to clipboard and switch views / paste same place and as long as the same elements exist in the new view, the dimensions will be pasted.  I always create my grid dimensions in one view and copy/paste them to all my other views.

Regarding your wishlist.  Revit is not AutoCAD - THANK YOU AUTODESK !  Because Revit's dimensioning is view specific, it is much more like AutoCAD's dimensioning in paper space.
