A google search returns this: Startup error: Revit could not load RevitMFC.dll All Autodesk application of the 2010 family (and higher) require the CPU instruction set "SSE2". This instruction extension is available in all newer processors by Intel and AMD. The installer checks (during installation) whether your processor (computer) is compatible but some older AMD processors slip through this test undetected. And the missing SSE2 instruction set then causes the "MFC could not load" error. You will need a newer PC to run Revit 2010. Is your computer/processor getting a little dated?? The next step would be to google your particular processor, SSE2 detection, see if there's a work-around. Sounds sort of dire--sorry.
