is it possible to have a yes/no parameter determine the width of another formula? for example, if the checked 'yes', then the width is 4', if not then the width is 5'.

i feel like it can be done but i just dont seem to be able to do formulas correctly. Sorry if this has been answered before, i looked breifly but i didnt see what i was looking for. thanks.

Yes - you can do this.  Read about conditional formulas in your HELP.

A conditional statement uses this structure: IF (<condition>, <result-if-true>, <result-if-false>Winking

Thanks WWHub. I was almost positive that you could. I thought I tried the correct way, but I must have mistyped it.  Works now.  Thanks again.
