Hello everyone!

I have been working in Revit for several years and know this program very well.  However, I have just started with a new company and I believe there might be a printer issue, but I want to see if anyone else has had this issue before to see if I can fix it myself in Revit.  I've never had this problem before.

I am using Revit 2011 and whenever I print an image whcih has been inserted or print a rendering from the file, it prints on the sheet upside down.  For instance, I am using a 11x17 sheet and I have just dragged over my rendering onto the sheet.  It prints upside down.  Or if I inset an image from a file onto the sheet, it still prints upside down.

I tried rotating the image, hoping that for some unknown reason it would print right-side up, but the image just then disappeared!

Any ideas?  Has this happened to anyone else?  I have tried printing to another printer, and there were no issues.  However, this is the only printer that we have that's 11x17 capable, therefore I really need this printer to work.

Let me know if anyone has any ideas!  Much appreciated!  - Kylie

Try printing to PDF.. If it prints correctly there, then it is probably a print driver issue.

My company has the same issue, only on 11x17, and we print to pdf, then print the pdf on 11x17 and it works.  It's an extra step yes, but we print to pdf for recording anyways.

Interestingly enough, I just started having this issue.  I have a few sheets of general notes which are just documents from the city that need to be in every set of drawings.  I have a few drafting views with 11x17 .jpg's, and only one of the drafting views with these .jpg images prints them all mirrored.  I have been printing directly to PDF because I need to send them over to a client.  I had been using the Foxit PDF printer driver.  I then switched to the Cute PDF printer (another straight-to-PDF printer driver), and the problem went away.
