I am wondering if anyone knows if all lights in my model affect (takes more time) a single room rendering that has just 6 fixtures?  Thanks

Of course, why don't you just do a simple test in Draft mode, "Interior - Sun Only" and the other "Interior - Artificial only".

In addition to what TYPHOON said I would like to add. No matter if the lights are in the view or not, Revit has to provide calculations for all lights that are turned on. My suggestion is to create grouped lights and turn off all groups that would not be visibile to the space. Keep in mind if there are any windows, doors with glass, or other opening adjacent to the room you are rendering, can still affect the lighting of the room.

Thanks JAMESHGRIMES, I kind of thought it may work that way.  I kept rendering rooms in my model and it seemed the more lights I added as I went along the longer the Renders took.  I will try to group and turn off.  Thanks
