I upgraded to 2011 and so far things had been going smoothly, however I opened revit today to find my project properties box, and elements box completely overtake the screen, and there's no way to minimize the windows(or it won't allow me) I just toggle between my views and project browser using a keyboard shortcut, and the element properties window is so wide I can't even make edits to anything. help please.

Hello Typhoon, I had the same problem, but now, if I activate the Project Browser and the Properties Toolbars, from the >View>User Interface menu, a blank screen appears, the only way of seeing the project is by unchecking the Project Browser and the Properties boxes. (See images) I tried with the link that you posted, following all the options, but it didn't work. Help please. Best regards!

So yes indeed i tried all three solutions on the website and even had the autodesk website reset my interface but iøm still getting the same error. sorry for the hiatus, i had to finsih a project but i had to find a way to work around this problem. I am defintely worried though because Iøm having the same issues: my project browser fills up the entire screen I have to exit out to see my project and toggle back and forth, and my element properties box is a blan k screen now. I don't know what to do esp. considering i have another project due soon and i can't edit anything really.

Ok, i forgot one thing, close REVIT and go to that folder and delete the UIState.dat Windows XP C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Application Data\Autodesk\Revit\\UIState.dat
Windows Vista & Windows 7 C:\Users\%username%\Appdata\local\Autodesk\Revit\\UIState.dat
After this just run this file i just attached now, click "Executar" then "Sim" then "Ok", it gonna fix the problem.

Hello Typhoon,
I'm getting the same problem. My properties and project browser boxes are filling the whole screen. I've tried all 3 options and nothing works...
I was wondering... where do i find this file you say you uploaded??? I'm talking about the one we have to "execute" after having deleted the UIState.dat
Hope to solve this issue... When openning the same file on other computers, I don't have this problem. It's only on my workstation.
Thanks! Hope you can help me!
